Hi

I am running Oracle 8.0.3.0.0 on NT 4.s3 and WAS3.

Everything was running fine until we installed Microsoft Proxy Server. which caused a few problems so we uninstalled it.

Everything was working again after that.

Then the network guys installed a second network card into the server for when we re-install the Proxy Server. Since then the Oralce Agent service has been running wild, it takes up 98% system resources , rebooting doesn't work ,and I left it running all weekend and it still hasn't slowed down.

I had have not done anything unusual apart from the proxy server and the network card ,and I was not running any large queries at the time.

Any suggestions.
