I am look for a Database to use for a project I am about to start. I'm trying to get programmers input as to which Database should I purchase. (This is for Windows platforms)

I have narrowed it down to these (No particular order):

1. Oracle - (Oracle)
2. Interbase - (Borland)
3. SQLBase - (Centura)
4. SQLServer - (Microsoft)

I expect to get a bias opinion in favor of Oracle, but I believe I can still find the truth amongst the anwsers.

So if anyone knows anything about the Database I have listed above (more other Databases I should consider) please respond.
