First one forms a committee to draw up a feasibility study. This committee sets up a further committee to report back with an imapct analysis on the proposed change.

This sub-committee, then refer the problem back to the main committee for clarification of their terms of reference.

After clarification, the sub-committee try to reach agreement on changing the column name. This receommendation is then returned to the main committee who reject it as it does not comply with the organisations naming conventions and forms a new sub-committee to address the problem.

This new sub-committee decides to look at the whole issue of naming conventions......

In the meantime, the original reason for changing the column name is forgotten and the project that required it has closed.

Name change therefore is not required!!!
