I attended an Oracle tele-seminar on Oracle*8 and it was mentioned that is
WAS possible to have 7 & 8 on tha same NT box, but it took some 'tweaking'.
As for UNIX, I have sucessfullt installed both on an IBM RS/6000. I don;t see any problem with HP.
