There are many DBA books available. The DBA handbook from Oracle Press by Kevin Loney is one of the best. There are also many tuning books and books which are Oracle 8 specific. You might want to go to www.primarykey.com and check out our selection. Just put DBA in the search field and then read about each book. All our books are discounted all the time and we have the latest and greatest straight off the press!
