I'm writing an OWS 2.1 application for a new company. We want to have some security, so we are implementing a Proxy server. I know that SQL*Net will not work through most Proxies, however, if the webserver and the database server machines are both behind the firewall, do I have to be concerned about the proxy server???

Our current plan is to force our customers( there will be relatively few ) to log on to our NT Domain to allow them to gain access to our webserver behind the firewall. Is there anything that I need to be aware of with this implementation??

Thanks for any help
