0600 error. Please help!

Hi:

I am running an OLTP production application on Oracle 7.1 server on SCO 3.2 (open desktop 3) Recently when I was running a query against the dba_free_space view, I got the ORA 600 error message and a trace file was generated which looks like follows:

SQL> select count(*) from sys.dba_free_space; ERROR:ORA-00600: internal
error code, arguments: [6711], [134217847], [1],[134219337], [0], [], [], []

no rows selected

---

The Oracle trouble shooting guide indicated that this could be a data corrupton problem.
Is there a simple enough fix for this or do I have to contact the Ora cust. support with this? Has anyone of you come across this problem before?
