well another question. Is the time based on 24hr clock or 12. the hour element HH or HH12 is hour of day (0-12). Use HH24 for Hour-of-day(0-23). so the time format would be 'HH24 MI SS' would be my next try. Before trying though, check the .bad file to see if the record has a 'military-time'.
