John,

 I can appreciate the frustration - I've even had MS refuse to look at a VB bug because I was using an unsupported nic! In that case it was easy to put in a supported nic and recreate the problem in 10 seconds - with a large raid unit I can appreciate there are cost implications.  

 Is it possible to run SQLHDTST against the server over a weekend? If this ran through ok, then it should help with the case against MS by showing that the hardware is ok and 'compatible'
