Hi,
Also have a look at Oracle7 Server Space Management white paper at www.orafns.com/whtpaper.html
It has a nice explanation of how oracle manages the space. And also how to size the database tables, indexes and clusters. I have created a excell spreadsheet which gives me the sizing information of the tables that I have had to convert from the RMS files on VMS to Oracle.
