Oracle 7.3.x, Netware Unlimited Extents

Hi,

A have a user on 7.3.2.2.0 and Netware 4.11 who set extents unlimited on some important tables. Oracle then promptly fell over and when restarted the server abended. Oracle support have worked hard to get this site up by getting us to upgrade them to 7.3.2.3.0 and applying patch 7.3.2.3.7 but Oracle is now page faulting when we try to restart.

Has anyone out there in the Oracle/Netware community had this experience and found a way of restarting Oracle without resorting to a backup? Received on Tue Mar 03 1998 - 00:00:00 CST
