Re: Oracle 7.3.2 and NIS (szguns: getpwuid error)

Hey!
Look at the unix manual for the nsswitch.conf file, which is located on /etc.
There is an entry for password and there you tell the system to look into several name database, in the order you want: files, nis … Hope this help!
