Creating Views

Hi :

I want to create a view for a table, When I create the view with a .sql file, and run the file the view is created dynamically. On the other hand if I create a view from the sqlplus command line, I can create and do a describe on the view.
I do say 'commit work' after I create a view from the .sql file. How can I commit the view from the .sql file. Please direct emails to geetha_sanjeeviah_at_p-com.com
