I've done both Unix and NT over the years ... Some client prefer to use NT over Unix because most do not have the necessary inhouse skills/ or budget And they are more familiar with NT ..
But if you are going to ask me .. I still prefer Oracle on a Unix box ...
Going with an NT box is also not a bad solution since Oracle product are continuously being improved in this environment , and probably it will be as mature and as stable as Oracle on Unix box .. Just make sure you have an updated service pack from Microsoft .
As for memory resources , 64M is too small . If you could provide 128M or more , your users will be happy . Oracle makes heavy use of the memory for optimum performance .
