We tried to upgrade our oracle 7.1.4 Server for Solaris to version 7.3.3.
After following the steps of the server migration guide the following message appears after login as (ordinary) user:

ERROR:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-00904: invalid column name

Error accessing PRODUCT_USER_PROFILE
Warning: Product user profile information not loaded! You may need to run PUPBLD.SQL as SYSTEM Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO ERROR:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-00904: invalid column name

Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO You may need to install the Oracle Procedural option SET APPINFO requires Oracle Server Release 7.2 or later

Connected to:
Oracle7 Server Release 7.3.3.0.0 - Production Release With the distributed option
PL/SQL Release 2.3.3.0.0 - Production

login as system leads to the following mesaage:

ERROR:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-00904: invalid column name

Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO You may need to install the Oracle Procedural option SET APPINFO requires Oracle Server Release 7.2 or later

Connected to:
Oracle7 Server Release 7.3.3.0.0 - Production Release With the distributed option
PL/SQL Release 2.3.3.0.0 - Production

Does anybody knows what causes the problem and how it can be solved?

thanks for the Help

Andreas
