We run on Solaris and have users logging on to NT, Novell, and others who don't run any NOS. The only users for whom the OSUSER column has a value other than ORAUSER are those logged into NT.

Sorry this wasn't much help, but I would also be curious if anyone has additional input. Most of our users will not have an NOS and trying to determine which SQL*Net connection belongs to whom is a b^*#ch.
