Stripe + Mirror vs. RAID 5

We are running a large-scale (130+ million rows) OLTP application using Oracle 7.3.3 on a Sun Enterprise 4000 running Solaris 2.5.1.

Currently, we have our data and index partitions (They're raw partitions) hardware RAID 5'ed on two separate storage arrays using fiberchannel controllers.

To increase performance, we're considering getting two more arrays and striping and mirroring these partitions instead.

Does anyone out there have experience with this sort of setup. What performance gain can I expect? Is it a good idea? As a side note, we have on average 15 client threads accessing the DB at any given time.
