Hi Kris

Did you look at the memory (used up, increased swapping, etc.) ? I had once a system (unix) where the application used up the memory (and didn'r release it).
That fact that after a reboot everything is "fine" , but after several hours of running the response is almost nill, seems to me a clasic memory problem.
