Re: ORACLE 7 server on HPUX

Hi Lisa.

Try running lsnrctl. It starts the tns..... process for you.

It will help you diagnose what is wrong. Try issuing a 'show status <SID>' when
running the lsnrctl.

If it is not running, then type 'start' and see if it will start.
