HELP: ORA-06107 error

Oracle server is running on Solaris 2.6 for Sparc, and had been upgraded from 2.5. I did relink the server components. Whether that has any bearing on things or not, I cannot connect to the network server. I don't get any errors during startup of the orasrv or listener processes. I need a checklist of things that could be wrong, or mis-configured.

Oracle server is running to support Interleaf's RDM product, and was purchased as "Oracle for RDM" in Interleaf's typical scanty documentation style.
