oracle problem

We run Oracle ver 6 on our unix box (sco v/386 release 3.2) and we just
produce a sector by sector clone of the hard drive in hopes of being
able to boot up the database on another computer.  Now, the unix boots
right up but oracle will not mount.  Any suggestions would be greatly
apprieciated.
