I had the same problem awhile back, and solved it by creating more redo log groups. Oracle support was no help--they couldn't tell me the reason for the message. After doing some reading I came to the conclusion that the redo log writer was not keeping up with the database writer. Received on Sat Jan 03 1998 - 00:00:00 CST
