Should we migrate to Oracle 8.0???

Can anyone tell me if it is prudent to move to Oracle 8.0 at this time from 7.x on a UNIX DecAlpha?

Would like to know experiences, performance, how long it took, problems, advantages, would you do it again?

Was database size and memory usage greater?

Was performance enhanced?

What bugs or gotchas did you run into or perhaps things that are not resolved....
