Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> HELP!! My DB writes after Upgrading to a MP-Server all 10 Minutes a Redo-Log!
Hi,
after upgrading my DB-Server (Oracle 7.2.3 / AIX 4.2) to a MP-Server (4
CPU, 1GB Memory) my
DB writes all 10 Minutes a 20MB Redo-Log!! On the old Server (1 CPU, 512
MB Memory, AIX 3.25) only max. 20 Redo-Logs was be written.
The 'Redo Log Allocation Latch Contention' is very bad (98,14) (thanks to Menlo Software - Query 45). The old Server has 0,02! I have changed the value LOG_SIMULTANEOUS_COPIES to 8 from 4 and reduced LOG_SMALL_ENTRY_MAX_SIZE from 800 to 400. But no effect!!!
The Application (SAP-R3) is the same how on the old Server - no change!!
What can I do?????
Thanks for your help.
