Mmm, I've had good luck copying the db files from one NT box to another, recreate the services on the new box, recreate the controlfile, and run the database. I have 4 databases that have been running just fine now for a few months that were copied that way...

Now, these were development dbs. Whether I'd be CONFIDENT enough to do this with a production db is another story...
