Hi everyone,
We installed Oracle Web Application Server/3.0, oracle form 1.4w on HP/UNIX machine. We are able to run oracle forms using AppletViewer. However when we tried to run forms through Netscape4.03, we got such error message:
# Error: Invalid Hash of this JAR entry (-7882)appears all right but all the functions such as enter query or update don't work.
# jar file: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\jzipPKUB.TMP
# path: oracle/forms/uiClient/v1_4/debug/Debug.class
# Error: Strange PKCS7 or RSA failure (-7881)
# jar file: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\jzipPKUB.TMP
# path: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\jzipPKUB.TMP
# Error: loading of signatures has failed (-1)
# jar file: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\jzipPKUB.TMP
# path: /web-code/
..... I read oracle newsgroups, someone suggested install Netscape patches. So I download and installed a patch call API.* (don't remeber the exact name). It impoved a little bit. Now when I tried to run oracle form through Netscape, it would automatically start AppletViewer, the form
My question is: Has anyone successfully run Oracle Webform through Netscape? If someone has, what are the tricks. I appreciate any info about this.
