Help! DBSNMP.EXE takes 99% of CPU time on NT4.0

We are running Oracle8.0 on NT4.0. The machine now is extreemly slow. I looked at the task manager and noticed that DBSNMP.EXE takes about 90-99% of the CPU time.

What is DBSNMP.EXE and why is it taking all the CPU time. How do I configure this correctly.

Your help would be much appreciated.
