Hi Willem!

There are two of starting the listener. I asume that you installation is running win/95. You can either start a command prompt and write: lsnrctl start - to start it
lnsrctl stop - to stop it

or you can edit your registry under the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE you find a key called SOFTWARE in there you will find ORACLE. When have found taht key you click once on the folder icon, and you will see all the values for ORACLE. There is a value called LISTENER_STARTUP, if set it to AUTO, you listener will start every time you start your personnal oracle.
