REPLICATION USING THE INTERNET

I would appreciate if anyone has any information regarding database replication over the internet, on frequency of about four times a day with about 400k of data per replicate.

The constraints in this task are as follows :

  1. The database network layer must use IP.
  2. The replication function should not have to rely on the databases being on the same domain or trusted domain.
  3. The replication function must be able to be re-run if the internet link is broken and also transactions must have the facility to roll back if the link breaks whilst the replication is in progress.

If anyone has any information, sources of information or has actually done this before please let me know.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Please reply to :

Many thanks
