Hi Leslie,

there's so many to say about these items that it will fill books. So why not read 'Tuning Oracle' published by Oracle Press and OSBORNE. it covers those items. For getting started with oracle (aslo sizing memory and disk space) take a look at 'DBA Handbook' fromthe same publishers.
