Oracle 7.3.2 Replication Problem

We're having a problem replicating large tables both as fast and complete refreshes. We get the following error:

	ORA-02068 - following severe error from <database link>
            ORA-03113 - end-of-file on communication channel.
The data is going over an ISDN line into a WAN connection and finally to the replicated site. The ISDN connection seems to be timing out, but we have both routers set for a 10 minute timeout period. Does this need to be increased? Or are there some settings in init.ora that we're missing? We're running Oracle 7.3.2.3.13. Both servers are running NT 3.51 with 2 - 200MHz Pentium Pros and 256 MB memory.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
