Not supported by Oracle:

Backup your database !
bring down the DB
Create a instance
Create a DB
bring down the NEW instance
copy the datafiles + logfiles to the New instance home Start the new DB with mount option
the rename the datafiles (FROM (original old path) to (new instance path) ALTER SYSTEM rename file xxxxx to yyyyyyyy Startup force;

now you have a exact duplicat of your DB
