Are you archiving? If not, what version of Oracle are you on. You may be able to take the datafile offline, but only if you are using later versions of Oracle (7.2, 7.3). You will lose your tablespace, but my guess is that you are trying to save your database.
Try starting in nomount, then mount and try to take the datafile offline.
