Database Upgrade: Choosing Product DB Objects

Hi:

I am doing my first database upgrade - of a 7.2.3 unix database to 7.3.3. I have created the 7.3.3 $ORACLE_HOME and now must upgrade the database. The installer asks me to choose the products to upgrade. I'm not sure what to choose
as I don't know what determined what product database objects are in the database.

The 7.2.3 $ORACLE_HOME had a number of products installed that this database didn't require. The database was created by my own scripts (not the installer) and the only vendor product script I ran was CATPROC even though the replication and distributed products were in $ORACLE_HOME.

Do I choose to upgrade everything that was in the old $ORACLE_HOME or just the product (PL/SQL) for which I ran the product script. I was told the 7.2.3 installer (the upgrade option) would list the products in the database. It seems to list the products in $ORACLE_HOME though.

I'm confused. Your help would be appreciated.
