No, it doesn't sound right, but it may depend on what your 30 clients are doing. Your consultant should be able to provide some reasoning as to why he doesn't think it will work. We have a 64mb, 133mhz, netware server running two instances of Oracle 7.3.3. Total database size, for both databases, is in the 1/2 gig range which is not all that big. The high-water mark usually indicates a max of 11 or 12 concurrent sessions.
