benchmarks

hi

    i'm looking for some simple benchmarks for mssql server and oracle. i've downloaded information from tpc - but that is too complicated for me to explain to my target audience (management :-} ). i'm looking for a benchmark that indicates how many seconds it takes to perform

1. selects, updates and deletes against a several large tables using nontrivial access methods (join's, complex where statements, etc...)
