Hello fellow Canadian :o)

I run Enterprise Manager on one NT box that I use to administer several Oracle Databases. While I don't know what the CTXSYS user is for (It's not on my HP Oracle instances), the DBSNMP is the agent user that Enterprise Manager uses. The DBSNMP agent must be running in order for EM to connect to the instance (to start - LSNRCTL DBSNMP_START). I think this is all mentioned in the EM configuration guide that should've come with your purchase. Hop dat helps eh... Received on Thu Oct 16 1997 - 00:00:00 CDT
