This is means there is some new data is getting added into your database. So it is normal. You can do compress of the dump file using "compress dump_file_name" This will normally compress the file to about 30% size. There may be some data in the database which needs to be deleted also. You have find out which needs to be deleted and periodically delete unwanted data.
