How do I estimate the required SGA size?

Is there anyone out there who can give me some guidelines/rules for
estimating the required SGA memory size?



I am particularly interested in any experiences people have in sizing
the SGA for Oracle Apps.



The documents relating to apps that I have found so far have ranged
from 'start with 32mb and add more as required' thru to '300mb
minimum'.   Very useful.....Not!
