I'm looking at using Oracle 8 recovery manager on Unix VLDB, so i'd be very interested to hear of experiences people have had with this product. If you're using it, has it tested ok? Did it recover ok? Are you using it in a production environment? Any (major) problems? Is the functionality what you need? Would you recommend it? How does it compare with, say, EBU? Does it reduce redo volumes during backup?
