From the title of your posting, I will assume that user B did not declare the synonym as public, in which case only those users to whom he has explicitly granted access will be able to see those objects - including roles. That is, if he has not granted access on those objects to the role(s) which are attempting to access them, then they will be inaccessible. Your username should still be able to access them, depending on you the application was set up (i.e., if the application identifies you as a role or a user).
