Hi Everybody,

My question is: Suppose one company has more than one branches and every branch wants to be independent but on times they need to share the information, in this situation what will be the right way ... multi schemas or
multi instances..? and every company wants to share the customer table and other rules and validation tables..

All suggestions will be welcomed. Also what will the backup and recovery cycles
and if one company wants to backup the other should be running.

Ofcourse i m talking this for oracle 7.3 on unix platform.
