Hi,

In Windows NT and Windows 95 you do not use ini files - you use registry. Go to the Registry Editor and you'll be able to find you Oracle Home in one of the two following places:

  1. In registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE and entry ORACLE_HOME, and key value is probably what you are looking for.
  2. In newer versions, you can have more than one Oracle Home, so search for your Oracle Home in registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ORACLE_HOMES\ORACLE1 and entry ORACLE_HOME, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ORACLE_HOMES\ORACLE2 and entry ORACLE_HOME, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\ORACLE_HOMES\ORACLE3 and entry ORACLE_HOME, ... and key value is again probably what you are looking for.

Regards
Miodrag
