Eperiences with Oracle8 & BLOBs???

Hi,

anyone arrived to work with BLOBs in Oracle8 for large amounts of data, i.e. ten-thousands of BLOBs >1MB, thus tablespaces of 20-100GB?

We would like to hear, if somebody got this running, or if this is still a 'beta'-like feature of Oracle for this large amount of data.
