End of commnuication channel Error ORA-3113

Hi Folks,

      I am facing severe problem while accessing my DB2(Mainframe) tables thro my database links(which is existing in oracle 7.1.4 AIX 3.2.5) by SQL*NET 1.2.7.X .Most of the times application can talk to DB2 tables with out any problem. But some times(It is not regular) I am getting ORA-3113 End-of-communication Channel error.

      I would appreciate any help in this regard. Why it is failing sometimes? Is there any way to trace this error?
