In the Oracle Book CD rom, look at the category Enterprise
then pick the manual

Oracle7 Enterprise Backup Utility Administrator's Guide.

This explains how to interface with OmniBack, OpenVision and other
tape management software. 'obackup' is the command name. I use it on 17
databases daily.
