How to extract log raw columns

Does anyone have experience pulling log raw data from a table to a disk file where the blob size is 5 to 15 MB each?

The program should run on a WIN 95 PC with a minimum of 16MB RAM. The Pro*C example Oracle supplies appears to declare a buffer size based on the maximum size of the blob. Won't this cause a problem with only 16 MB RAM? I need a solution which can be integrated with a PowerBuilder application and dynamically extract the data based on a key column. Any help would be very appreciated.
Chris
