SQLPlus problem

I have following problem with sqlplus:

My operating system in Solaris 2.5 and oracle version is 7.3.2.2.0.

When i start sqlplus, it asks username and password, then it hangs. If i enter wrong name/passwd it says that 'Wrong name/passwd' but it hangs when i enter valid name/passwd. Log files doesn't shows anything. Sqlplus version is 3.3.2.0.0.

Server manager and other tools works fine.
