Solaris install problem

Anyone,



We are trying to install Oracle 7.3.2 on a Solaris 2.4 workstation. 
After analyzing dependencies, we get the error message:



rdbms.vrf(2732): UNKNOWN_GROUP while getting group name for . (no such
file or directory)



and the installation aborts.



Any help would be appreciated.
