   The instances will use twice the memory since tou will have double the background processes running and two SGAs, assuming you make the SGA the same size.
The only shared resource would be the software(Oracle) itself. The answer to the amount of overhead cunsumed by the software can be found in the Server Administrators Guide. Received on Wed Jul 02 1997 - 00:00:00 CDT
